Transformations Learning Centre is an alternative means of education servicing children diagnosed with Autism and Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Developmental Disorder, Integrated Sensory Disorder, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, Downs Syndrome to name just a few. We service school age children as early as Kindergarten through to Grade 12. TLC also provides the option of receiving a Dogwood Diploma upon completion.
Our Designated Learning (DL) program is Self Design a Virtual Online Organization that currently serves 1200 learners. We incorporate Behavioural Intervention Strategies into our learner's curriculum to achieve academic successes. We believe social relationships are as important as academic programs and therefore, we will also focus on teaching social skills and social cues essential to maintaining significant relationships. Daily Physical activity is essential to every learner's growth and development and is mandatory in their program, which is entirely based on the unique abilities of each learner.
At TLC we are extremely strength based, each learner's strengths will be highlighted and then incorporated into their individual program in order to increase self-esteem and encourages new learning interests. TLC encourages parental participation and has an open door policy, parents are encouraged to attend and learn with our learners.
